How do I replace the gas in my plasma TV? (knowone seems to know?)?
My plasma TV is currently disappearing very slowly and I need to replace gas, Can anyone tell me how? Ive just said that you can not replace gas in plasma, because they are sealed and you need to put 3 different types of gas at each pixel of a plasma screen, so the next time a vendor you says you can replace the gas on a screen to ask how do you …..? Its impossible! lol
You can not … vendors is folklore. I do not know how many have been trained to believe saleman you just remove the old gas and replace it with new gas and all your problems disappear, but the screens plasma are not designed for gas exchange …. It would be like replacing a light bulb filament …
