This thing is just great for diffusing your flash. Produces a soft look to your photos - can’t even fully describe how much it really improves your flash! Just remember that if you’re taking larger group shots at a small distance, this will diffuse your flash to the point where you won’t get enough light on your subjects!

5 Stars Exactly as expected
This fits perfectly on my Canon Speedlite 430EX II. It’s easy to install/uninstall. Unfortunately, it cannot be left on the flash unit and stored in the case that came with the Speedlite. But that being my only complaint, and a minor one at that, I am very pleased.

This simple device provides more flattering and naturalistic lighting. Used with bouncing techniques, you can really eliminate the harsh blue tones and harsh shadows on your subject.

5 Stars Best for the money
I found the Omni-bounce provides very even lighting. It’s much more so when bouncing the flash off the ceiling. I thought my 430EX when bounced off the ceiling did very well, but when the flash was fitted with this cheapo piece of plastic I was pleasantly surprised. Some say it is over priced, and yea for what it is, yes it is, but for what it does, it’s more than worth the money. It’s still about the cheapest thing you’ll have in your gear bag. It fits a little loose, but I’ll work around that.

1 Star Fits too loosely
I’m going to have to give this a 1-star. I just received it and haven’t taken a single photo yet. But I can already tell I’m going to have a frustrating time with it falling off of my 430EX-II. Judging from other reviews, I would have to say that sto-fen has a problem with their manufacturing; some fit well, others not. This diffuser sits so loosely that it falls off when I tilt the flash down. Think I should return this…

5 Stars Lightweight and works great!
This Omnibounce diffuser is a must-have for indoor shooting, especially when you have walls and ceilings to bounce off of. With this diffuser, some light will be directed toward the subject to fill the face or the shadow under the eyes. It will eat up your Flash power a little but it has never been a problem with me because I am not a professional photographer who shoots like 500 shots in one evening. If that’s the case, just carry some spare batteries and you’ll be set. I also find it useful outdoor when the subject is under some shade, not in direct sunlight. Last but not least, it’s super lightweight and fits my 430EX II perfectly.

5 Stars Great mouse-bad packaging
Mouse is just what I wanted only wish it had one more optional button–it only had the wheel button which I use for BACK and would have liked a FORWARD command as well. Only complaint, thought I was getting the Amazon no-frills package but ended up with the plastic-from-hades encasement that took kitchen shears to cut open. What stupid packaging engineers design this crap? Right, none, just some idiot in the lab.

1 Star low quality
This is not a mouse that you expect as the best-seller. All you want from a mouse is that it registers your moves and your clicks. As a surprise, it does not! Sometimes I have to click several times to make it function. This happens even when the mouse is 1 foot away from the dongle. Reception is very poor. Maybe the 2.4GHz ones are better. If you do not use mouse pad, then you are in trouble. I didnt have problem with my old hp optical mouse on carpet (maybe again this is due to poor reception). I am disappointed with this product and try to replace it with a corded mouse.

5 Stars Easy to use.
I’ve had this mouse for over a year, and it works well. I use it with both my HP laptop, as well as, my Dell netbook and it works great on both. I prefer using this mouse than the keyboard on my laptops since the keypads don’t always respond quickly. This mouse saves time when surfing the internet quickly from site to site or when editing documents. It has a long battery life as well.

I’ve had this mouse for almost a month now. This mouse looks great and works great. Virtually no installation required. I plugged the receiver into the USB port on my Macbook Pro laptop and the cursor instantly jumped into action, responding to the mouse’s every move. It’s extremely fast and precise and, so far, has worked on every surface I’ve placed it on.

As usual, reliable Amazon delivery time was faster than promised.

Only possible complaint concerns the battery life. Advertised as “approximately 6 months”, I notice that when my laptop goes into sleep mode, the mouse doesn’t, thereby continuing to use the battery while I’m away from the computer (and forgetting to remove the receiver and put in back in its resting place under the mouse which shuts off the mouse). Overall … 5 stars.

5 Stars Very impressive camera
I am extremely impressed with this camera, both the video and still shot capability. The video is sharp and clear and one can put over two hours on a 16 GB SDHC card in the FXP mode (next to the highest resolution). It indexes each video ’segment’ as a thumbnail making it easy to review any segment and even delete that segment if one desires. Since there is no motor to spin a hard drive or tape drive, the battery life is excellent.

I will cut short.

* I am a male standard size, the places of the buttons are wrong, very hard to use, you’ll get finger-ache.

My unit broke after 5 mins of recording. (I think this is a very important point, it broke NOT immediately.)

If you want to buy this unit, first begin recording and wait at least 10 mins.

Because i am a international customer, Canon and Vanns were upset(!?) And they did NOT help me. Just pointing out their sadness and giving meaningless suggestions.

4 Stars Good High Def Camcorder
I have had this camcorder for about two weeks. The unit is very light and portable. The only problem I see with it so far is that you have to move very slowly or have it on a tripod, otherwise the picture looks very choppy. I am still learning how to use it, so I might be doing something wrong. This is my first digital camcorder, so I don’t know if this behavior is normal or not. The picture quality when the camcorder is held still is phenominal. The unit is very easy to use and the menu is fairly simple. It also focuses well and has a good zoom.

5 Stars Great camcorder
I love this camera. I got it a couple weeks ago and I’m shooting a documentary with it right now. The size of it is really nice for me, cause I have enough equipment to carry around without having a bigger camera and case. Plus I can shoot anywhere easily and even though it’s really light, it’s not hard to hold the camera pretty steady.

The image looks great in most situations. It’s not too bad for low light, there’s a little fuzz, but it’s not as bad as other cameras I have worked with. Trust me, I am getting footage in dark music venues.

I have only used some of the features so far, but everything I have used works good. One thing that I am having a problem with is the fact that the accessory shoe is “mini” so I have to buy an adapter in order to mount a mic on it, and the adapter I’m trying to order is out of stock :-/

I wasn’t planning on using any of the software that came with it, so I didn’t think it would be a problem at all, but now I have videos that I originally imported through iMovie that are compressed, I saved the .mts files to my hard drive, so I want to transfer them back to the camera and re-import them through Final Cut now that I’ve figured out how to do that, but I can’t get the Pixela software to let me do it, even though that’s supposedly what it is for… By the way, some of the software it comes with is only for Windows. There’s only 1 thing that works on Mac, but I guess you shouldn’t really need too much of it anyway on a Mac…

For those of you working with Final Cut, you can import the .mts files directly into FC without having to use a convertor. You just go to file>log and transfer, with your camera plugged into to the USB and turned on and it brings up the files in a window. All you have to do is click on one, edit the log info, and click “add to que” (or something like that). That’s it.

This is a great Camcorder! It’s small, and very responsive. The still picture quality and video’s are both great. I highly recommend this camera. The night shots are on par with other cameras in my opinion. You won’t get professional quality in the dark with a consumer camera. All in all, I’m glad I made this purchase, it’s a great deal for $599!

5 Stars My grandson loved it!!
I bought the 8GB Sony Memory stick Pro Duo for my grandson to replace his 1GB Memory stick. He said that his failed to work (some incident involving tea). He inserted the new memory stick and his PSP responded immediately. He commented on the fact that his game system was displayed on the packaging and was delighted with the way the system responded. He is 11 years old. I can only conclude that this speaks to the ease of use of the memory stick. My grandson was still immersed the PSP when he was driven away with his mother.

My memory card worked for about a month and then mysteriously stopped working, company doesn’t care to help when you have a problem. It may be cheap but you get what you pay for. very disappointed.

While I haven’t used this memory stick that much yet (I purchased it as a back up to my other 4GB memory stick), it seems to be functioning just fine. 4GB is quite a lot of space, and it is very rare that I need to touch the backup, even when we are on vacation for an extended period of time. The memory stick that I purchased this as a back up for is the exact same size and company, and I am happy with it. It can also fit into an adapter to be used on older cameras that come with longer memory sticks, but you need to purchase that separately.
