| It was spring of last year. Man were the wife and I tired of the snow. Seemed like it just would not let up and it was March.So, off we go, figured we would get down to Cancun, lay on the beach for a while and perhaps take that reef dive I had heard so much about. Word was it was only 40-70 feet total and it was just awesome to see, so I was heading down to the desk to book it.Did a quick check before I headed down to make sure I had all my stuff. I don’t have my own SCUBA stuff, but I have flippers, mask (and I thought) my underwater camera.Friggin upset was I to realize I had left the waterproof digital camera at home, some good that was going to do. Huumm, well no worries, fired up the lap top and searched google. Up came the Waterproof cameras at Amazon.I needed something cheap, cause I had a good one at home and Amazon claimed next day delivery. Even to Mexico, lets find out I thought. I thought about the disposables they have, but they were real cheap waterproof cameras so I settled on the Pentax Optio Waterproof 10MP Digital Camera. I liked it’s 5x Wide Angle Optical Zoom. And, it said free shipping. So I ordered it. Now I found out that next day does not really apply to Cancun, but three days later there was a package ant the front desk and low and behold, there was the camera. I ended up getting some great photos underwater, and the holiday was spectacular. |
