Help buying digital cameras.? Sony DSC-H1?
Looking to upgrade my digital camera. A of the main reasons I'm looking for a new device is my current super slow between shots. What are the technical specifications referred that? What is considered fast? I'm not a fan of great photos, but take lots of pictures during the trip. They often blow our pictures to hang on the walls (16 "x20") so be sure you have good quality. I am currently looking at a Sony DSC-H1, but I'm not sure if this is a good device photo? Or should I bite the bullet and go with an SLR Camera (are they good for someone who is accustomed to Point & Shoot)? Specific ideas Sony on the suggestions would be appreciated if the shit then others would be welcome. Thank you.
I got my H1 for over a month and I am very happy with the results. The images are very clear in the automatic mode, and there is full manual control in particular situations. The time between every shot (cycle time) is estimated at 1.2 sec. without flash. Reload the flash takes a second or 2. Autofocus time is too fast, except in low light and the extreme telephoto. I chose this type of digital SLR more because of convenience and lower costs. The objective 36-432 mm zoom is based on, so no need to carry a bag of expensive lenses. The camera itself is less than D-SLR, if the whole package is the best for travel. D-SLR you will get even better performance, best quality in high ISO, manual controls and more ergonomic. However, additional benefits were not enough for me 3 to 5 times justify the cost (for the moment he receives the equivalent image stabilized lens), and trouble to make accessories. The H1 has a 5 MP sensor, which is somewhat low for a clear sense of 16×20. Expanded as large, the density pixel is only 129 ppi. Most printers require 200 dpi to 300 do a good job. Other alternatives (under $ 500) for H1 are new Sony H5 (7 MP) and a 3-inch LCD screen 235K RES.
